On Exploring and Practicing the Assessment Modes of Software Development Curriculum in Higher Vocational Education

Higher vocational education should insist on a training purpose which mainly relies on abilities and supplemented by knowledge. It should focus on nurturing the students' professional skills, creativity and entrepreneur daring. To fulfill this purpose, based on research of the course structure system, exams are to be reformed in aspects like concepts, contents, forms and evaluations so as to implement the ability-oriented assessment mode. The software major has explored the ability-focused assessment mode, accumulated some experiences and made great progress.
