面向对象数据库系统Daemon4／1的设计

Daemon4/1的基本目标是使对象操作语言和库管理系统能有机地集成在一起，为此在基本模型、对象表示及访问机制、语言事务系统和版本管理等方面作了探讨。在对象模型设计时应考虑支持库管理和操作，对象表示应同时支持传统语言和库操作执行，语言级事务概念要考虑到语言运行系统的特殊性和库事务管理系统，版本管理等特色的引入不能影响对象系统的简单性。Daemon4/1在这些方面具有自己的特色。

THE DESIGN OF OBJECT-ORIENTED DATABASE DAEMON4/1

The principal target of Daemon4/1 is to consistently integrate the OOPL and DBMS. For this purpose, techniques are explored with respect to the basic ob ject model, object representation and access mechanism, transaction control, at language level, version control, and etc. The system gives some support for DBMS at the object model level, and the object representation supports both traditional programming language operations and database operations. Transaction manage ment in language system consider the sophisticated object behaviour and the couple at the lower database level. Function such as version control is implemented at no loss of the simplicity of object system.
