| Abstract: | The development of the technology at terahertz (THz) frequency band is getting rapid and finds wide use recently, so it has become a hot research topic. THz quantum cascade lasers are considered to be a promising candidate as the terahertz radiation source. This paper tries therefore to provide a brief overview over the research on THz quantum cascade laser, including the design of active region and waveguide layer. |
