摘    要:针对传统的小波变换提出了一种图像融合的边缘检测方法.在边缘不连续和抑制噪声能力弱的问题给出了一种改进的小波变换方法.并对原图像分别采用改进的小波变换和Canny算子两种方法进行边缘提取,再将两种方法的检测结果进行图像融合.实验证明融合后的图像结合了两种检测方法的优点,是一种有效地图像边缘检测方法.

Abstract:A method for image edge detection based on image fusion is presented. Because the traditional wavelet analysis is unable to control the noisy well and the edge is not consistent to direction properties some improvements have been made and a new kind of wavelet transform has been proposed. It detects the edge of original image by the means of new wavelet transforrn and Canny operator respectively, then does image fusion of the two results that produced by those two detecting method. It is shown that the proposed method provides clearer and smoother edges than that using Canny or wavelet transformation algorithms alone.
