设计目录是有系统、有步骤地进行设计工作时运用的一种新型设计信息库。它不同于传统的设计手册,在内容上,更具普遍适用性;在形式上,更便于利用计算机存储和提取。研究和编制设计目录,将对设计工作科学化产生深远影响,尤其为计算机辅助设计创造了方便条件。本文阐明设计目录的结构、内容及其应用可能性。

A new information bank for design-designcatalogue

Design catalogue is a new information bank for designing works. It can be used in designing to carry out the work step by step in a systematic way. This new method is different from applying the traditoinal design manual, but more applicable and convenient for computer to memorize and to provide information. The researching and programing works of design calalogue are very significant which offer advantageous conditions for computer aided design and promote the scientification of designing works. This paper clarifies the structure, contents of design calalogue and the possibility of its application.
