| Abstract: | Set against the backdrop of the recent upsurge in construction of social housing projects across China,the article offers an introduction of the characteristics and achievements of the ＇Chongqing Model＇ of public rental housing,with an emphasis on the analysis of issues and challenges in terms of project scale,selection of site as well as architecture design.It also supplies what the authors consider appropriate strategies for such issues and challenges. |
