| Abstract: | This paper describes the mechanism of electromagnetic stirring and develop-ment of this technique.The great benefits brought by the electromagnetic stirring technique for improving quality of cast slabs are expounded,and MHD(Magneto-Hydrodynamics) theory de-scribing the relationship beten eletro-magnetic field and liquid flow is also introduced herein. |
