| Abstract: | Padding of the packing materials in a continuous-type thermal diffusion column substantially increases the separation efficiency by reducing the remixing effect. Considerable improvement in separation over the achieved by an open column was obtained by employing a packed column with packing materials having the best value of permeability. |
