Current carrying capacities of NbAlGe bulk samples in magnetic fields up to 10 T

Results of critical current density measurements of bulk NbAlGe both as-cast and heat-treated samples are given in this paper. In steady magnetic fields up to 10 T, the current densities 10³?3 × 10⁴Acm^?2 have been reached. The optimal heat treatment of samples led to the enhancement of T_c in all cases, but its influence on j_c was not significant and unambiguous. In some cases a small enhancement of j_c, and in other cases lower j_c was observed after sample annealing.
