Abstract: | Conclusions An increase of the crack resistance of structural members of outlet works can be achieved by: zonal placement of concrete with a maximum reduction of thickness (up to 0.5 m) of the layer of cavitation-resistant (high-grade) concrete with differentiated designation of heat insulation of the spillway surface corresponding to the seasonal conditions of performing the works; developing and realizing additional structural and technological measures for the masses surrounding the outlets on the basis of a more detailed analysis of the thermal-stress state of the blocks and consideration of the conditions of concreting them.
