硫酸高铈催化合成丁酸苄酯的研究

摘    要:以硫酸高铈为催化剂,丁酸和苄醇为原料合成丁酸苄酯。考察了催化剂用量、醇酸物质的量比、反应时间、带水剂种类等因素对收率的影响。最佳反应条件为:丁酸0.2mol,苄醇与丁酸物质的量比2.0,催化剂0.5g,带水剂甲苯20ml,反应时间30min,此时收率达92.20%。结果表明硫酸高铈是合成丁酸苄酯的优良催化剂。

Abstract:Benzyl butyrate was synthesized from benzyl alcohol and butyric acid by esterification using ceric sulfate as catalyst. The effects of reaction conditions, such as such as catalyst amount, reaction time, molar ratio of alcohol to acid and various water-carrying agent, were observed. Under optimized conditions, i. e. , butyric acid 0.2mol, molar ratio of alcohol to acid 2.0, catalyst 0.5g, water-carrying agent toluene 20ml and reaction time 30min, the yield of benzyl butyrate reached 92.20%. The results show that ceric sulfate is an excellent catalyst for the synthesis of benzyl butyrate.
