关于曲阜孔子研究院设计的学术报告--在曲阜孔子研究院设计学术讨论会上的发言

各位专家 ,各位学者 ,各位同行 :刚才秦院长对我过誉了。召开这个孔子研究院的报告会有几方面的意图。第一 ,这个工程从1 996年提出来要我们作 ,到现在有 4年了 ,去年( 1 999年 ) 1 0月第一期已经完成了 ,应该总结一下 ;第二 ,就是我们这个工作是一个创作集体的成果 ,有我们的特点。除了专业工作者以外 ,主要的设计工作是老师和硕士生、博士生完成的。这个会也是我们教学和学习的工作汇报。第三 ,也许更核心的 ,就是希望在研讨会上 ,对创作的方向问题进行讨论。大厅已有展版 ,也有个小册子 ,所以不耽误大家太多的时间 ,主要是结合幻灯解释一…

On the Academic Report of the Design of the Confucius Research Institute in Qufu--Speech on the Design Symposium of Qufu Confucius Research Institute

The first phase project of the Confucius Research Institute in Qufu has recently been completed by the creative group headed by its chief architect, Professor Wu Liangyong. Putting forward in 1996, it took four years to complete the project. Neighbouring Confucius temple, Confucius mansion and Confucius forest, the Confucius Research Institute contains five parts, including the museum, library, academic hall, research institute and administrative unit. The nature of the project demands high degree of cultural connotation, representing Chinese culture, regional culture and the individual character of its local culture. To achieve this requirement, starting from the angle of city design, the designers, in the overall alignment, through artistic techniques of architectural decoration, sculpture, mural painting, interior design, garden and others, make the architecture complex appear more beautiful and close to nature, while assuring their use functions. As the architectural complex was built after the old palatial architecture in the form of nine square palaces on a square terrace, it blends the highly developed Chinese cultural connotation, distinctive spirit of the times and local characteristics in complete harmony.
