Abstract:With gradually polymerization technique, waterborne photosensitive polyurethane hyperdispersant (WUVPU) was synthesized using polyethylene glycol, toluene diisocyanate as materials, β-hydroxyethyl methacry- late as blocking agent, 2,2-dimethylol propionic acid as hydrophilic chain extender and dibutyltion dilaurate as cat- alyst. The influence factors were studied, such as the amount of DMPA addition, type of neutralizers, the extent of neutralization and NCO/OH mole ratio and so on. The product structure was characterized by FF-IR and I H-NMR spectrum. The results showed that the appropriate reaction condition was as fallows: the amount of DMPA addition was 7%, NCO/OH mole ratio was 1.0, neutralizer was triethylamine, the extent of neutralization was 100%. Un- der this condition, the disperse effect of the WUVPU was optimum.
