Swing Welding Technology of TIG Root Welding on Heavy Thickness Pipe

This article introduced welding process,swing welding operation method and cautions of manual argon tungsten-arc welding in all-position root welding of heavy thickness pipeline.This practice proved that using swing welding method to conduct manual argon tungsten-arc welding can solve defects of pressure piping generating in root welding,such as bad fusion pool protection,poor shape of inside and outside weld,gas pocket and slag tungsten.
