二级级联拉曼光纤激光器的特性

摘    要:对二级级联拉曼光纤激光器(RFL)的输出光谱特性进行了研究,利用理论模型讨论了高反腔输出光谱的分裂、对称以及随光栅中心波长改变而形成不对称的现象。实验得到了各级光功率的相互关系:随着抽运功率的增大,产生第一级斯托克斯(Stokes)波,剩余抽运功率有一个衰减的阶段;抽运功率继续增大,第二级斯托克斯波产生后,第一级斯托克斯波功率达到饱和,剩余抽运功率又开始线性增长。利用功率沿光纤长度分布的模型,分析了二级级联拉曼光纤激光器的功率特性,理论模型与实验结果相吻合。

Abstract:An experimental study of the spectral characteristics for the two cascaded Raman fiber laser(RFL) is performed and the output spectral sensitivity to the temperature tuning of the fiber Bragg gratings which form cascaded cavities is also included.An adequate model that describes both the splitting and asymmetry of the output spectra has been developed.Intensity interactions effects are successfully observed in experiment.First Stokes wave is generated with pump power increasing,and the residual pump power has a depletion phase.When pump power increases farther,second Stokes wave is generated,then first Stokes wave is saturated,and residual pump wave power starts to be increasing linearly.An analytical solution has been found for the set of equations for stimulated Raman scattering which describes these effects.A comparison of the measured and calculated data demonstrates a quantitative agreement as well.
