An oil leakage-fault of 1# transformer bushing in some 220kV station is discussed. By inspecting the faulty transformer and analysis in detail, the reason for the fault is put forward. The fault is caused because the cushion is aging and screw of flange contact face is non-uniform fastened Transformer is key facility in power system and its safe steady running should be assured. Also the suggestion for inspection and maintenance of transformer is given in order to avoid the same kind of fault.
