| Abstract: | The authors, after a survey of the literature, describe the injuries of the facial nerve during parotid surgery for pleomorphic adenoma. The facial nerve damages are often transient with total resolution, except where one or more branches are deliberately sacrificed for malignant tumors or recurrence. |
