宽带线性调频信号的性能检测方法

摘    要:宽带线性调频频率源设计完成后,需要检测频率源的性能,解决检测过程中遇到的问题,提出一套工程上适用的宽带线性调频信号的性能检测方法。首先,根据相位残差曲线(测试信号与理想信号的相位差)的形状对匹配滤波器参数(主要是调频斜率)定性调整,能够快速得到最佳的脉冲压缩结果。然后从数学上证明这种方法的正确性。最后应用数字相位补偿的方法进一步提升宽带调频信号的脉冲压缩性能。实验证明,后期的数字补偿方法对非理想线性调频信号的压缩结果有较大的改善作用。文中测试数据来源于自行研制的频率源产生的1GHz宽带线性调频信号。

Abstract:The performance of a wideband LFM signal source should be tested after designing. For solving the problems in this process, a testing method of wideband LFM signals is given. At first, using phase error curve(phase error between testing signals and ideal signals) as an indicator, the parameters of the matching filter(mainly FM slope) are adjusted qualitatively. The best pulse compression results can be quickly got. Then the method's validity is proved in math. At last, the digital phase compensation method is used to improve the pulse compression results of wideband LFM signals. This experiment shows that the additional digital phase compensation method improves the compression results of non-ideal LFM signal greatly. A 1 GHz bandwidth LFM signal produced by our frequency source is used as an example to confirm the testing method.
