Application of Preloading Theory in High Embankment Treatment with Dynamic Compaction in Mountainous Area

Theory of piling preloading reinforcement of unsaturated soil is applied in high embankment treatment with dynamic compaction in mountainous area, and the result that the upper soil layer effectively reinforced had preloading impact on the lower elastic soil layer is presented. The theory is proved through practical engineering that it can effectively enhance the reinforceable depth with dynamic compaction method, thus dynamic compaction method is popularized in high fill foundation treatment in mountainous area.
