| Abstract: | The electroslag remelting technology has been developed in
China since 1958. At present, there are the electroslag metallurgical workshops at all special steel
works and 86 electroslag remelting units have been set up in the country with annual capacity
100,000 tons. The products of electroslag remelting steel include 243 designations of alloy steel
and superalloy. |
