Abstract: | The FEM strength reduction method though research and development has become an effective method in slope stability analysis. Based on the FEM result, the judgement the slope reached the limits of the destruction has become a key point in slope stability. In recent years, FEM result convergence, the feature part movement and the plastic zone linking have been the main three judgment methods. Using ANSYS FEM software and two typical cases, in accord with three kinds of criteria for stability analysis, and compared with the limit equilibrium method, and then we can obtain the applicability of three kinds of criteria, and the feasibility of strength reduction method. |
