| Abstract: | The paper discusses a test method for 500 kV transmission line arrestor of upper suspended, which without removing high voltage connecting lead, based on test practices for many years. The method can greatly relieve workload of removing and connecting HV line lead and obtain accurately credible testing results at the same time. And it has positive to test and technical supervision of on line surge arrester. Meanwhile, the paper points out the preventive test necessity of HV transmission line arrestor. |
