| Abstract: | Finite-element method (FEM) is a kind of advanced CAE technology which is widely applied in scientific calculation, design and analysis. It has been used as an important tool in engineering design and analysis. After reviewing the development history of FEM and CAE technology, the paper introduces the basic idea, analyses the development trend of FEM, and the application of FEM is summarized in the studying of Drill String. |
