| Abstract: | The results of fractal research on the structure and properties of sprayed amorphous-crystalline coatings have been considered. A close correlation has been shown between the fractal parameters of the structure and the combination of mechanical properties of the coating materials. It has been found that the tool life in cutting coatings depends largely on the homogeneity of the structure and the stability of mechanical properties of workpiece materials. |
