Constant cross section calibration beam for setting resistance strain gauges to normalized biaxial deformations

The distribution of longitudinal and transverse deformations was studied on the surface of a bent calibration beam of rectangular cross section to find the axial and transverse sensitivity of resistance strain gauges mounted on the beam surface along and across its axis.
