| Abstract: | A model-reference adaptive control system is described, where adaption is performed by means of sampled signals. Aitken's method of iterative interpolation and extrapolation is employed to predict the performance of the continuous system at the sampling instants. The predicted-performance information is used to compute the strength of adaption impulses by sampled-data analysis techniques. |
