The Technology of Reducing Tension Mills Attached to Welded Pipe Mills

After welded pipes are treated by reducing tension mills known as "welded pipe seamless process". There are still some differences between welded pipe and seamless pipe in quality index. Investment cost of equipment, material and energe of reducing tension mills attached to welded pipe mills is accounted carefully. Compared with heat treating equipment attached to welded pipe mills, the author considers the former has disadvantage of high investment cost and is difficult to apply and disseminate. The author points out that various welded pipe productive techniques should be understood. The advanced technique with low investment cost should be applied.
