| Abstract: | The development of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is briefly introduced. The physical and mechanical properties, modifying technique and molding technology were summarized. Their tribological characteristics and wear-resistant mechanism were emphatically evaluated. Furthermore, this implies that there is a great need for PEEK and its composites in the field of machinery, chemical industry and oil wells, etc. |
