Finite element analysis of laminated composite shell junctions

The axisymmetric bending of laminated composite shell junctions have been analysed by the finite element displacement method using laminated anisotropic shell theory. Numerical results have been presented for cylinder-cone shell junction and cylinder-geodesic-isotensoid dome junction. These results have been compared with results for isotropic case.
