| Abstract: | The formulas for the determination of compression zone of the eccentrically loaded RC members with ring section are derived so that the solution of transcendenatal equation can be prenented.It is verified that the formulas can result in high accuracy through numerical example and systematical comparison, hence are applicable to either computers or hand calculation. |
