基于无线Mesh网的VoIP性能研究

摘    要:利用无线Mesh网多跳传输、灵活组网的特点和VoIP通信性能良好且资费低廉的优势,构建基于无线Mesh网的VoIP通信系统,通过应用层性能测试软件IxChariot对系统的整体性能进行了专业测试,分析MOS值、时延、时延抖动及丢包率4种VoIP通信系统关键性能指标,最后测试了分别采用G.711u、G.711a、G.723.1-ACELP、G.723.1-MPMLQ、G.726及G.729这6种常用语音压缩编码算法时VoIP通信系统的性能,研究结果显示无线Mesh网可以很好的支持VoIP通信系统。

Abstract:With the features of WMN(Wireless Mesh Network) in multi-hop transmission and flexible network connection and the superiorities of VoIP in excellent communication performance and low tariff,the VoIP communication system based on WMN is built up.With IxChariot,the application layer performance test software,overall performance of the system is tested,the MOS value,delay,jitter and lost package rate are analyzed.Meanwhile,the performances of the VoIP communication system respectively with six common voice compression coding algorithms including G.711u,G.711a,G.723.1-ACELP,G.723.1-MPMLQ,G.726 and G.729 are discussed.The experiment results show that the wireless mesh network could support VoIP communication system well.
