Research on Method of Non-symmetric Video-Coding Negotiation based on SIP

A method of non-symmetic video-coding negotiation for the video communication of different terminals is proposed, and this indicates that the negotiation could be separated by decoding and encoding while two terminals begin a session. Thus these two terminals could choose the decoding and encoding parameters separately according to their capability and requirement and achieve better result in video communication. This method is the requirement for the development of video-communication products, and also for future development of multimedia communication.
