Study on measurement method of amine value of amine epoxy hardener

It was indicated in this paper that he amine value determined by acid-base titration was a total amine value of the primary amino-group,secondary amino-group and tertiary amino-group and did′nt reflect the relative contents of the amino-group so that the equivalent of active hydrogen and the theoretical amount of curing agent could not be worked out by acid-base titration.But using the primary amine value,secondary amine value and tertiary amine value to character content of modified amine and the end point of reaction of modified amine could be controled exactly.The determination methods of primary amine value,secondary amine value,tertiary aine value and the counting formulas of theoretical amount of modified amine curing agent were also introduced in this paper.
