| 摘 要： | 专业英语的教学不同于基础英语，应该紧密结合课程实际，并根据专业特点来展开。就高职院校专业英语教学的现状及存在的问题，应从教师素质、教学方法、教学手段、教材等方面进行改革，着力培养学生英语阅渎和实际运用能力，以达到专业英语教学目的。

| Abstract: | Teaching of specialized English is different from that of Basic English; it should combine with the course closely and outspread according to its specialized characteristics. Concerning present situation of specialized English education and the problems existed in higher vocational college, reform should be performed through the following aspects such as teachers' quality, teaching method, teaching means and teaching materials. Also effort should be exerted on training English reading and practical applications ability of students to accomplish purpose of specialized English teaching. |
