磁光晶体球型光纤光隔离器

摘    要:探讨了一种磁光晶体球型光纤隔离器,用YIG来研制器件的实验结构,其插入损耗,隔离度和反向损耗的测量结果分别优于8.9dB,28dB和45dB理论分析表明,这类器件的有效长度可达0.5mm以下,插入损耗低于1dB。

Abstract:A fiber optical isolator with a spherical magneto optical crystal was developed in this paper. The insertion loss, isolation and return loss of a experimental structure with a YIG sphere for this device were measured to be less than 8.9dB, greater than 28dB and 45dB, respectively. According to analysis the lowest insertion loss and the effetive lenght of this isolator could be droped down to 1dB and 0.5mm, respectively.
