Simple method for measuring material dispersion in optical fibres |

| Abstract: | A simple and accurate method, using a sinusoidally modulated l.e.d., is proposed to measure material dispersion of optical fibres. By this method, material dispersion was measured using a step and a graded index fibre. The results were in good agreement with those of other methods. |
