| Abstract: | The technology characteristics and effects of contemporary ultra\|high\|power (UHP) electric arc furnace are summarized in this paper. It is pointed out that at present the development of UHP electric arc furnace technology is embodied in high transformer utilization factor, optimum process and flowsheet, improving environment and so on. |
