| Abstract: | The paper discusses the accident aroused by the settlement of substation steadier in the (project),and analyses the reason of differential settlement and displacement in soft soil area.The effective countermeasure was taken,and eliminated the incipient fault of safety. It accumulates the experience for similar projects in the design and construction of building foundation. |
