Angular dependence of nucleation field in magnetic recording particles |

| Abstract: | Nucleation field of particles used for magnetic recording increases sharply for large angles between the applied field and the particle easy axis. This effect is shown to be consistent with the magnetization curling mechanism in these particles. |
