张謇的城市建设思想与实践

近代著名实业家张謇,从20世纪初开始,在南通经营了30年,使南通成为中国近代民族工业的发祥地之一。同时,他在城市建设与实践上也建树颇丰。中国城市建设大师、两院院士吴良镛高度评价张謇先生在南通的城市建设“具有划时代的意义”,使南通成为“中国近代第一城”。文章简析了张謇的城市建设思想与实践,并就我们今天可借鉴的经验进行了概括。

Urban Construction Theort and Pratice of Mr.Zhang Jian

As a famous industrialist in late Qing Dynasty, Mr. Zhang Jian began to operate his business in Nantong at the beginning of 20th century and made Nantong one of the initial national industrial cities in China. At the same time,he gained great achievement in urban construction and development. Mr. Wu Liang-yong,a master of architecture .praises Mr. Zhang Jian's work highly, saying that "it opens a new time". He also calls Nantong as "the first city in early modern China". In the article the writer analyses the urban construction theory and practice of Mr. Zhang Jian and summarizes some experience that is still useful today.
