| Abstract: | Six new chlorobenzothiazolylazo chromogenic reagents of the benzoic acid type were designed and synthesized.Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, 1HNMR and IR spectroscopy.The characteristic properties of these new reagents and their color reactions with metal ions were also studied. |
