保护中求发展,发展中求保护--谈南京老城的保护与更新

本文是南京老城保护与更新规划项目的经验回顾，规划针对南京老城发展的现实和矛盾，确立了将老城发展成为文化之都、活力之城、宜人之地的总体发展目标。在充分保护老城丰富历史文化资源的前提下，积极探索提升老城功能、彰显老城特色的方法和途径，是城市历史保护与旧城更新领域的一次有益探索和实践。

Development in Protection, Protection in Development--Protection and Redemption Plan for Old City of Nanjing

This paper reviewed the experiences in the protection and redemption plan for the old city of Nanjing. Aiming at the reality and conflict in the development of Nanjing's old city, this plan established the overall plan of developing (he old city into a place of culture, vigor, and amenity. In the precondition of protecting the abundant historical and cultural resource there, this plan energetically explored the methods to upgrade the old city's function and show the old city's characteristics. This plan was a beneficial exploration and practice in the area of urban history protection and old city redemption.
