| Abstract: | The preparation methods of polycarboxylate-type superplasticizers, action mechanism and relation-ship between molecule structure and performances are briefly summarized. The advantages and disadvantages of polycarboxylate-type superplasticizers used in real engineerings are mainly discussed. The compatibility between cement and polycarboxylate-type superplasticizer and its effect to the fluidity, air content and durability are thoroughly analyzed. |
