Design of Satellite IP Communication Network

Satellite communication network to transmit IP data is up against some specific problems.Much delay and high BER of satellite channel influences the performance of some IP applications.Some solutions are provided.When satellite IP communication network is designed,the some problem s need to be considered：how to select route protocol;how to improve the channel utilization;how to avoid broadcast storm;how to avoid route change when switching to backup device;how to test the quality of satellite IP channel.Some solutions,test data,and figures are provided.
