摘    要:针对“视觉文化”这一概念的起源问题,阐释了“视觉文化”从最初产生就具有的三个基本特征,即视觉文化的大众性、可感性、虚拟性,彰显了匈牙利著名电影家巴拉兹.贝拉对“视觉文化”研究的独特贡献,以及他以“视觉文化”为出发点对电影的影像本体所进行的独特思考,对视觉文化研究具有较大的借鉴意义。

Abstract:Visual Culture waz first propounded by Bala Balazs,the famous Hungarian movie director.He proposed that the movie art is just the basis of visual culture,whereas he treated movie as the milestone in the history as the ancient typography culture was transformed into modern visual culture.On the other hand,Balazs took visual culture as the start to study films,working on cinematic image ontology from the aspects of close-ups,scenes and montages.On the whole,as a pioneer,Balazs's research on visual culture touched the ground of visual culture on three basic points: the masses,sensibilities and virtuality.Thus,it has greatly enlightened the subsequent researchers.
