空间能力的测试及其对机械制图课程学习的影响

摘    要:采用国际上广泛使用的PSVT: R方法对选修机械制图课程的机械学院大学一年级新生进行了空间能力测试和分析,进而跟踪研究学生空间能力对机械制图课程学习的影响.结果表明,总体而言,性别、学生所在原就读地区对学生空间能力会产生影响;空间能力对机械制图课程的学习效果会产生一定影响,其中,学生空间能力对画法几何部分学习效果的影响,要低于对形体表达部分的影响.

Abstract:The Purdue Spatial Visualization Test: Rotations (PSVT: R) is commonly used to assess a person's spatial ability. It is administered as a pre-test to freshmen in School of Mechanical Engineering, who are enrolled in engineering graphics course. Subsequent research is made to find the relationship between spatial ability and success in learning engineering graphics. The results indicate that both gender and habitation have influence upon the students' spatial ability, while the spatial ability may affect the study of engineering graphics, especially of the solid presentation.
