| Abstract: | This paper introduces the background of connection-oriented service in MEN and standards evolvement. Then the main technologies of MEN are described, including PWE3/VPLS and PBB-TE, and PBB-TE is the keystone. In the end, the development and challenges of PBB-TE are discussed. |
