| Abstract: | The advantages of providing services by deploying Softswitch technologies are presented. The characteristics and the architectural model of unified service platform are described. Based on the analysis of service demands at the current stage, emphasis is put on the implementation scheme of two new services, i.e. IP Centrex and Personal Communication Portal, for group users. The maturity and prospect of Softswitch services are finally outlined. |
