摘    要:对给定的图像先进行小波变换并对其统计特性进行分析。将图像的编码分成低频和高频两部分,将低频部分单独提取出来,利用自适应DPCM方法进行自适应预测编码,先适应图像内容的变化;高频部分结合人类视觉系统特性HVS改进EZW的量化编码,然后两者均进行算术编码。实验结果表明,所设计的编码器能减少图像编码主观失真,改善图像质量,获得较好的压缩效果。

Abstract:The given images are transformed with wavelet and the statistical characteristics of the transformed image are analyzed. The image coding is divided into two parts -low frequency part and high ones. The low frequency part of the decomposed image is solely extracted and is adaptively coded with adaptive DPCM so as to satisfy the verities of the contexts of the image. For the high frequency part .this paper codes them with an improving zerotrees coding technology based on HVS. Computer simulation results show that the image coder can reduce the subjective distortion and improve the quality of the reconstructed image with a good compressing quality.
