Abstract: | The cathodic reductions of two series of substituted quinoxaline di-N-oxides and quinoxalines in acetonitrile were measured in the potential range of 0 to −2.0 V and 0 to −2.3 V vs sce, respectively. Two irreversible reductions were observed in the first series, and one reversible reduction for the second. The effect of substituent on these reduction is reported. |
